The BIO International Convention is the largest global event for the biotechnology industry, offering networking and partnering opportunities with high-level policymakers, scientists, CEOs and newsmakers, and hundreds of sessions covering biotech trends, policy issues and technological innovations. The BIO attendees are upper management and senior staff from biotech, pharma, academic, research institutions, tech transfer offices and policy makers. The more than 15,000 come from more than 65 countries to BIO for the superior networking, partnering, exhibition and education. More than 125 sessions and high-level keynotes share breakthroughs in medicine, diagnostics, the environment, energy production, business operations, financing, partnerships, policy issues and food and agriculture.

In Boston, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority’s (MCCA) Public Safety Team at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) and the Hynes Convention Center, have taken their experiences to develop a comprehensive crisis management training program, starting with crisis communications.
