The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is a national professional association of pharmacists, health care practitioners and others who develop and provide clinical, educational and business management services on behalf of more than 200 million Americans covered by a managed pharmacy benefit. AMCP members are committed to a simple goal: providing the best available pharmaceutical care for all patients.


AMCP's Annual Meeting & Expo is the nation's largest gathering of managed care pharmacists, and features over 40 educational programs and many opportunities to make or renew professional connections. 

The Annual Expo will feature over 80 exhibiting companies, ready to display and discuss the latest drug therapies, technologies, and a wealth of products and services affecting professionals working in managed care pharmacy.

As event professionals, our job is to host people and while we can’t prepare for everything, it’s essential to develop an emergency plan that can be adapted to any situation. In Boston, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority’s (MCCA) Public Safety Team at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) and the Hynes Convention Center, have taken their experiences to develop a comprehensive crisis management training program, starting with crisis communications.
