Description
Production delays, technical issues, have over recent years, caused delays in the replacement of ageing aircraft with new noise and emissions compliant fleets like the B787 & A380. In addition the global recession, which has had a profound impact on air transport as a whole, is forcing operators to review ageing aircraft renewal programmes in favour of fleet replacement. This unique briefing, will introduce the idea to operators of the deferment of fleet renewal, as a viable alternative to major aircraft investment programmes. Working in association with ARC-Aero and the International Bureau of Aviation, the briefing will enable attendees to assess the: ·Impact to their operations caused by ageing aircraft programmes ·Perceived impact on the Approved Maintenance Programmes for aircraft older than 20 years ·Financial implications of continuing to operate aircraft beyond 20 years

As event professionals, our job is to host people and while we can’t prepare for everything, it’s essential to develop an emergency plan that can be adapted to any situation. In Boston, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority’s (MCCA) Public Safety Team at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) and the Hynes Convention Center, have taken their experiences to develop a comprehensive crisis management training program, starting with crisis communications.
