Description

With nearly 28,000 members in more than 110 countries, the APS is the largest, non-profit organization for stamp collectors in the world. Founded in 1886, the APS serves collectors, educators, postal historians, and the general public by providing a wide variety of programs and services. The Society is entirely supported by membership dues, gifts, and the sale of publications, souvenirs, and services. Approximately 40 dealers, a dozen societies, 40 meetings and seminars, and first day ceremonies are expected at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex. Show Hours: 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Sunday.

In Boston, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority’s (MCCA) Public Safety Team at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) and the Hynes Convention Center, have taken their experiences to develop a comprehensive crisis management training program, starting with crisis communications.
