As event professionals, our job is to host people and while we can’t prepare for everything, it’s essential to develop an emergency plan that can be adapted to any situation. In Boston, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority’s (MCCA) Public Safety Team at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) and the Hynes Convention Center, have taken their experiences to develop a comprehensive crisis management training program, starting with crisis communications.

Exploring PSS, cloud, BPO, MRO and legacy transformation
The Aviation IT Show began in 2010 from industry research and feedback, airlines and airports with legacy systems were struggling to meet customer demands in period of rapid IT development and innovation. We developed a platform to bring together CIOs, Heads of IT and Heads of Operations to help them improve (and integrate) their IT platforms, explore big data, utilise mobility and get the most out of cloud systems. The event examines how new technologies and business processes can be implemented into current operations to boost efficiencies, improve turnaround times and ultimately feed into improving the passenger experience. Already confirmed for 2015 are industry leaders such as Alex Cruz (Vueling), Sadiq Gillani (Lufthansa), Julian Wheway (Monarch), Fred Reid (Founder of Virgin America and Pieter Elbers (KLM).
