The Canadian Supreme is a prestigious and exciting major horse event held annually at Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta. Events during the weekend include cutting, reining, and cow horse classes for the best horses and competitors in Western Canada and Northwestern United States. The Western Horse Sale, held on Friday night, has become a feature sale for the horse industry. It has a reputation for offering quality horses and draws a large crowd. Saturday night’s “Zylkene Night at the Supreme” features a special opening ceremony and finals for 4 exciting premier classes. The crowd fills the stands on Saturday night alone, leaving standing room only. The 2017 show will be the 41st year for the Canadian Supreme and we expect to pay out approximately $400,000 to the competitors of the show. Admission to the show and trade fair is free.
