Until recently, the opportunity to have a celebrity attend an event, attach themselves to a name-brand or endorse a certain product or idea was untouchable. The thought of paying a person to promote a product was seen as something only Fortune 500 companies could afford. Social media has changed all that with brands and businesses utilizing celebrity influencers to connect directly with their demographics and increase sales and profits.
ESHRE - European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology
ESHRE has established itself as the first and foremost society in reproductive medicine. Since it was founded in 1985, ESHRE saw its membership increase from 349 to nearly 6000 members (as of July 2013). Overall, the membership is distributed over 111 different countries, with a majority of members from within Europe.
In tune with the Society’s membership growth, attendance to the Annual Meeting has almost always increased over the past years.
