Description
Flower Expo Ukraine was launched in 2006 by CoD Exhibitions in Kiev under patronage of the Flower Council of Ukraine. The exhibition has built up a very solid position as one of the leading trade shows for the entire horti- and floricultural sector in Eastern Europe. Many leading national and international companies participate at Flower Expo Ukraine yearly and10years exhibitors from all over Ukraine and other CIS countries visit the exhibition each year. During the 2017 edition the exhibition welcomed some 7.234 visitors! Currently Ukraine is undergoing many changes, including the signing of the association treaty with the European Union by Ukraine’s newly elected president Petro Porochenko. Te association treaty clears the way to a free trade agreement. Furthermore the new President has announced many new reforms in the constitution. President Poroshenko said Ukraine had paid “the highest possible price” to sign the free trade agreement with the EU. Calling the measure “historic,” he said it was the second most important development in Ukraine following its creation with the 1991 break up of the Soviet Union. The Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) is part of the Association Agreement (AA) between the EU and the Republic of Ukraine, one of EU’s the most ambitious bilateral agreements yet.
