Description

Fortune Brainstorm TECH is a powerful summer retreat that brings together the most significant emerging leaders in the tech world—and the people who finance their companies—with Fortune 500 executives. Held in mid-July on the spectacular campus of the Aspen Institute, it’s an immersion course for insiders, investors, innovators and deployers of technology. Brainstorm TECH is a place to build lasting relationships while taking stock of the big trends and new opportunities that are shaping the business and consumer agenda.

Brainstorm TECH offers the most stimulating program you’ll find anywhere. Our goal is to use Brainstorm’s unique collaborative style to better understand the new ideas and technologies that are changing the landscape. It’s an exchange that informs our journalism throughout the year, while building a powerful community of leaders from the Fortune 500 and emerging companies. Social events go beyond the program to include group bicycling and hiking excursions, yoga, a special evening reception in a stunning nearby private home, and nightlife in the historic and vibrant town of Aspen.

2014 participants included CEOs John Chambers of Cisco, Daniel Ek of Spotify, Jennifer Hyman of Rent the Runway, Aaron Levie of Box, Les Moonves of CBS, Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Jonah Peretti of BuzzFeed, and Hans Vestberg of Ericsson, as well as Starbucks Chief Digital Officer Adam Brotman, Silver Lake Co-founder Glenn Hutchins, Intel President Renée James, and Amazon Senior VP of Web Services Andy Jassy.
