Description
Celebrating its 11th year, the renewable industry's premier health and safety event will gather together over 200 industry H&S professionals in Birmingham. RenewableUK is delighted to welcome Jan Chmiel, CEO of Institution of Occupational Safety & Health, to present the keynote address at Health & Safety 2015. There will also be the following renowned speakers: Dr David Snowball - HSE Director of Field Operations, Jonathan Cole – G9 & Scottish Power Renewables, Richard Furniss - Nordex UK Country Manager, Andrew Sharman - Global Safety & Risk Consultant. Whilst at the event, it is worth noting the exhibition showcases over 20 high quality exhibitors in the Health & Safety industry. Although exhibition sales are sold out, a small extension has now been made so don't miss out on your chance to have a stand if you want to be represented. Applications for the Renewable Energy Health & Safety Award 2015 are also now open. The Award aims to promote the development, implementation and sharing of best practice in health & safety across the sector. In addition to the event and awards, the Managing Emergencies in Remote Locations Workshop takes place pre-event on Wed-28-Jan and will review and discuss the range of challenges and solutions for managing emergencies in remote locations. It will address both onshore & offshore scenarios and endeavour to take account both the similarities and differences in these operating environments. The Health & Safety Industry looks forward to seeing you later this month.
