National Association of School Resource Officers - 24th Annual NASRO School Safety Conference
The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) is dedicated to providing the highest quality of training to school-based law enforcement officers in order to promote safer schools and safer kids. NASRO, the world’s leader in school-based policing, is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1991 with a solid commitment to our nation’s youth. NASRO is an organization for school-based law enforcement officers, school administrators, and school security/safety professionals working as partners to protect students, school faculty and staff, and the schools they attend.
The attendees of the event are directly responsible for making recommendations to police agencies, sheriff departments, public schools, school districts & juvenile justice programs. Products and services of interest include computer software & equipment, metal detection, security alarm systems, uniforms, safety & fingerprint equipment, student prevention materials and much more.
Plan to exhibit and meet school resource officers, school district officers, school police officers, juvenile officers & detectives, school board members, D.A.R.E. officers, G.R.E.A.T. officers, school administrators, SRO supervisors, and community oriented police units. Attendance averages 800 at this event! 95% are officers, 5% administration and other.
