The Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) is proud to represent more than 920 skilled nursing care facilities, assisted living communities and providers of care and services to individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). The Association was established in 1946 to meet the needs of the state's growing number of long-term care professionals, which today totals more than 100,000 exceptional men and women who care for Ohio’s most frail and vulnerable citizens. With nearly 2,000 attendees representing independent owners, regional multi’s, large national chains, proprietary and philanthropic skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities and ID/DD residential service providers throughout Ohio (and neighboring states), the Convention attendees have both purchasing power and purchasing influence!

Sporting events are no longer the most preferred target for terrorists, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Outdoor events, conferences, festivals, and other events featuring public figures are all vulnerable. And with over a thousand different-level attacks since 2015, it’s no surprise that safety and security are among the top concerns for event professionals.
