This year, SANS Security East 2016 is being hosted at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside on Poydras Street, four blocks from the French Quarter. The hotel is right on the Mississippi River, next to Harrah's Casino, near the New Orleans Streetcars lines, and adjacent to the Cruise Terminal.
From the hotel, you can tour the Mississippi, walk Bourbon Street, visit a plantation, shop at Riverwalk Marketplace or Canal Place, take a swamp tour, see the Aquarium of the Americas, and learn about New Orleans rich and unique history.
