The Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA) is SCA is an international organization of over 6,000 cardiac, thoracic, and vascular anesthesiologists that promotes excellence in clinical care, education, and research in the subspecialty. Anesthesiologists and other health care professionals participate in our scientific meetings to enhance their knowledge of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic anesthesiology topics, new developments and technology.The SCA holds three separate meetings per year with exhibit options. Breaks, refreshments and receptions are held with exhibitors in the exhibit hall.This is the official annual meeting of SCA with 1,000 registrants. Primarily anesthesiologists (plus surgeons, perfusionists, Also includes RNs and residents) Up to 40 Sponsors/Exhibitors. Topics include valvular heart disease, ?challenges in hemostasis, DHCA, thoracic anesthesia, congestive heart failure, pediatric anesthesia, thoracic aortic surgery, geriatric anesthesia, critical care anesthesia, perioperative complications, cardiac patients having non-cardiac surgery, regional anesthesia in the cardiovascular patient, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiopulmonary bypass.??
