TSNN Event Excellence Awards Dinner

The first annual TSNN Event Excellence Awards were created to celebrate the growth, innovation and achievement that exist in our industry. Every day, show organizers work to promote their events, launch new ones, and better serve their attendees and exhibitors by creating amazing marketplaces for commerce. Technology providers offer innovative solutions to facilitate event management, expand communities, and explore new frontiers in event excellence. They are vital partners moving the industry forward in the 21st century.
We will celebrate success in this first year by looking at growth and achievement in both the exhibition and event technology sectors. One exhibition in each of the trade, association, and public sectors will receive a TSNN Event Technology Excellence Award. In addition, seven event technology providers will receive an MTO Tech Award including one overall winner in the Best in Event Technology category as follows:

Best in Attendee Experience
Best in Marketing and Communication
Best in Networking and Community
Best in Analytics and Measurement
Best in Event Management
Best in Virtual Events
Best in Event Technology (overall winner)

The exhibition organizer recipients of the TSNN Event Excellence Awards and the overall winner of the MTO Tech Awards (Best in Event Technology category) will receive their awards during the TSNN Event Excellence Awards Dinner on Thursday, November 10, 2010 at the Alexandria Hilton Hotel in Alexandria, VA. Recipients of the MTO Tech Awards in all other categories will be announced during the dinner.

This year, winning exhibitions will be chosen by the TSNN Event Excellence Awards committee and announced in advance. All shows will then be invited to submit for recognition in 2011 and beyond based on criteria being developed.

Technology companies seeking consideration for the MTO Tech Awards should review the call for submissions. The deadline for the receipt of entries is October 25, 2010.

Adam Schaffer, president of Media Revenue Partners and past-publisher of Tradeshow Week magazine will emcee the evening. "The goal of the evening is to create in the industry an important event to recognize the accomplishments that occur day in and day out by the terrific people that we're all so lucky to call our colleagues," Schaffer said.

This first TSNN Event Excellence Awards evening event will lay the foundation for weekend-long celebrations in future years - where the best and the brightest in the business will gather to network, connect and celebrate working in an industry like no other - and acknowledging and embracing the success that we have mutually achieved.
