8,000+ Visitors at FILMART

The 21st Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) concluded last week, attracting more than 8,000 visitors, which represents an increase of 9% from last year.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the four-day event ran from 13th to 16th March 2017, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). This year, over 800 exhibitors from 35 countries and regions showcased their latest productions at the event.

More than 70 special events were held during FILMART, including thematic seminars, press conferences and networking events. According to the HKTDC, participants from Asia grew significantly, with the Chinese mainland, the Philippines and Cambodia recording double-digit growth.
