The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) signed on with Digitell for a second year to expand their 3-D, Virtual Poster Session Hall. The Pharmaceutical Pavilion, which debuted at the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute’s Pack Expo Las Vegas Sept. 26-28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, was given high marks all the way around. The Greater Philadelphia Life Sciences Congress, a division of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, launched a new video for industry planners and influencers – people who help bring meetings and conventions to Philadelphia. Fifteen thousand attendees gathered for the National Society for Histotechnology’s 37th Annual Symposium and Convention Sept. 16-21 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. The attendees also used nearly 5,000 hotel room nights, according to the Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau officials. The Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association released its list of the top 50 largest medical meetings held in the United States last year. The Greater New York Dental Meeting topped the list, with more than 58,000 reported total attendees, followed by the Radiological Society of North America’s annual meeting.
