AsiaWorld-Expo Hosts Two Exhibitions Related to Fresh Produce, Nutritional Products

Hong Kong-based AsiaWorld-Expo recently played host to Messe Berlin’s ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, Asiafruit Congress and Informa Exhibitions’ Vitafoods Asia.

 

The two international exhibitions, which ran Sept. 5-7, featured the newest worldwide freshfruit and vegetables produces and nutritional products.

 

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICAisthe only annual international trade exhibition for fresh fruit and vegetable marketing in Asia that focuses exclusively on the fresh produce sector and related value chain for the whole Asian region, according to show orgzanzers.

 

The event attracts experts from all over the worldwith an impressive 20-percent increase in new exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services to make it the most efficient platform in Asia for gaining an overview of the market.

 

The Asiafruit Congress, held together with the ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, is the premier conference and networking event for the international fresh produce business in Asia.

“Bridging the Gap” - How important are good agricultural practices in Asian markets and what is happening to harmonize standards and broaden their reach?

 

“Berry Marketing in Asia” - Berries are gaining appeal in a number of Asian markets. What is happening to develop the category through imports and regional production initiatives?

 

The Rise of Asia” - Expert commentary on the emerging power of the Asian economies, their changing consumer habits and what it all means for the global fresh produce business.

 

With the great success of last year’s debut show, Vitafoods Asia retunred to AsiaWorld-Expo in response to the flourishing Asia Pacific nutraceutical ingredients market.

 

The three-day eventfeatured suppliers of ingredients and raw materials for nutraceuticals, dietary supplements and functional foods and drinks.

 

Visitors from all over the world had the opportunity to source new products and discover the latest 100 innovations in the New Products Zone, as well as make contact with suppliers and interact with other industry players.

 

The Free Seminar Theatre and the free-to-attend Discussion Forum also helped buyers and suppliers catch up on the market trend and knowledge.
