CHINA-PHARM 2014, 19th China International Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition, will take place from Oct. 28-31 in Shenzhen.

The event will be jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. and the China Center for Food and Drug International Exchange (CCPIE). The International Forum on Pharmaceuticals, Food and Cosmetics will be held concurrently.

Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai is the subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf in Germany, known as the organizer of interpack, the leading international trade fair for the packaging industry, and MEDICA, the No. 1 trade show for the medical technology sector, both held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

CHINA-PHARM 2014 will feature a wide variety of the most up-to-date equipment and technologies, ranging from pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging machinery and equipment, food and cosmetics manufacturing and packaging machinery to analysis and laboratory instruments and pharmacy logistics.

Visitors at CHINA-PHARM 2014 will include representatives from pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers, food, cosmetics, chemical and AIP intermediates producers, as well as drug research and design institutes, hospitals, pharmacies, government and universities.

The trade shows’ venue in Shenzhen is an ideal location for exhibitors to introduce their products to the Chinese market, according to show organizers.

Shenzhen is not only one of the four first-tier cities in China and an important R&D and manufacturing base, but also the core city for the biopharmaceutical industry. As a neighbor of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, with their strong economic influence in Southeast Asia, Shenzen functions as a key platform for foreign trade in China.

Since its premiere in 1996, CHINA-PHARM has developed into a leading trade fair for the pharmaceutical industry in Asia. The last staging of CHINA-PHARM in 2013 recorded 421 exhibitors from 21 countries and 20,400 attendees.
