J. Spargo Awarded Booth Sales, Management Contract for Clinical Lab Expo

J. Spargo & Associates, Inc. has been appointed the official exposition sales and management firm for the Clinical Lab Expo, sponsored by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.

J. Spargo will be responsible for the sales and management of booth space, sponsorships and ancillary marketing opportunities for the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Clinical Lab Expos.

Clinical Lab Expo is the world's largest gathering for laboratory medicine, according to association officials.

The show is ranked No. 86 in the TSNN Top 250 tradeshows listing and No. 19 on the HCEA Top U.S. Medical Meetings List. 

More than 19,000 laboratory professionals from a broad range of specialties will come together with 700-plus exhibiting companies at the meeting to hear research and learn about changes in the field.

International attendance makes up 25 percent of the total audience with participants representing more than 100 countries. 

Sue Deveaux, MBA, group vice president of the Healthcare Sector will lead the project for J. Spargo.

Deveaux and her team will develop and oversee the implementation of programs that will bring in new exhibiting companies from current and parallel markets, increase exhibitor ROI, and attract more attendees to the exhibits, according to J. Spargo officials.

J. Spargo provides services to 10 of the top 50 medical meetings in the United States.

The American Association for Clinical Chemistry, AACC, is a leading international medical society dedicated to improving healthcare through laboratory medicine and has more than 9,000 clinical laboratory professionals, physicians and research scientists.

The American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science is the preeminent organization for clinical laboratory science practitioners and has 9,000-plus members, including clinical laboratory directors, managers, supervisors, hematologists, immunologists, educators, clinical chemists, microbiologists, phlebotomists and other professionals.
