Koelnmesse to Advise on Northeast China Venue

October 24, 2011

Germany-based trade fair organiser, Koelnmesse, will advise Beijing Huahong Jiye Investment on the construction of a new exhibition venue in China’s north-eastern city of Harbin. An agreement was signed by both parties Oct. 7

The venue is set to consist of a 100,000 square meters complex, where Beijing Huahong Jiye Investment is looking to utilise the venue planning experience of Koelnmesse. Koelnmesse will offer the Chinese company consultancy and support on the venue construction from the initial layout to technical and logistical requirements, through to a centre management concept.

Koelnmesse’s CEO Gerald Böse said, “With our new exhibition halls we have amply demonstrated our ability to plan a state of the art and flexible exhibition centre. And we are pleased to pass on to our Chinese colleagues the experience gained in the process.”
