June 6, 2011

Messe München International has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Bangkok’s IMPACT Exhibition Management Company. IMPACT is the organiser of Thai construction machinery trade fair CONSTECH. Messe München will partner with IMPACT, as it looks to further expand its portfolio outside of Germany.

CONSTECH is held each year at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok. In its most recent edition, it featured 100 exhibitors covering some 5,000 square meters of exhibition space and attracted 12,000 visitors. The next edition runs from Sept. 22-24. CONSTECH is supported by the Thai Contractors Association and is the largest construction machinery trade fair in Thailand.

Eugen Egetenmeir, managing director of Messe München, said, “Thailand is the second-largest sales market for construction machinery in Southeast Asia. As part of this cooperation, we can now also offer our customers a professional platform for their sales and marketing activities in Thailand.”
