Record Attendance at Pack Print International Thailand

Bangkok, 8th September: Also this month, the third edition of Pack Print International received a record 200 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions. The four-day trade show, jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf Asia, The Thai Packaging Association and The Thai Printing Association, attracted an estimated 17,000 visitors from over 50 countries and regions – a jump of 40% versus the previous edition in 2009.

The trade show was held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), and ran from 31st August to 3rd September. Exhibitors at this year’s show were also able to utilise an online business matching service, which is valid for up to one year after the exhibition takes place.

Gernot Ringling, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, commented, “Pack Print International 2011 has hit record sales and international visitorship that has exceeded expectations. There was a real buzz around the show floor throughout the four days with trade visitors actively seeking new products and services, and business opportunities. Feedback from exhibitors was that they were very surprised with the volume of actual sales contracted onsite from both local and international visitors.”

The next edition of Pack Print International will run from Aug. 28-31, 2013, at BITEC.
