March 10, 2015

A new cruise industry trade show, Seatrade Cruise Asia, will be launched at the Korean port city of Busan this year as a result of combining Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific and the Seatrade All Asia Cruise Convention. The two-day show will take place at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre from 11th to 12th June 2015.

Hosted by Busan Port Authority, Busan Metropolitan City, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) and Korea Marine Leisure Network, Seatrade Cruise Asia will feature an exhibition, conferences and a travel agent training programme. The show’s organiser, Seatrade Communications Ltd, is a U.K.-based B2B media company and was recently acquired by UBM in August 2014.

According to Seatrade, the conference programme will focus on topics related to cruise tourism in Asia and cruise shipbuilding. Exhibitors of the show will include destinations, tourism authorities, cruise associations, tour operators, port agents and suppliers.
