MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018 to Present Solutions for Future of Medtech

January 23, 2018

As a specialist exhibition on manufacturing processes for medical technology, the 4th edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA, Manufacturing Processes for Medical Technology Exhibition and Conference, will focus on new manufacturing technology and automation which play vital roles in driving innovation and operations. The event will highlight companies covering the spectrum of additive manufacturing, 3D printing technologies, imaging and diagnostic imaging solutions as well as nano manufacturing and automated solutions. MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA will take place from August 29 - 31, 2018 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Complementing the exhibits will be the half-day forum on “High-technology for Medical Devices” with exhibitors presenting the latest global and domestic developments as well as market opportunities for medtech products from Europe. The forum will be organized by IVAM Microtechnology Network, a Germany-based international association with an extensive membership of companies in the fields of microtechnology, nanotechnology, advanced materials and photonics.

MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018 will be held against a dynamic backdrop which expects the Asia Pacific medtech market to surpass the European Union by 2020 as the world’s second largest medtech market after the United States1. Globally, the medtech sector is expected to grow 5% or more annually through 2022, to reach nearly US $530 billion2.

As Singapore continues to grow its medtech presence on the world stage, the 3-day exhibition will strongly reflect Singapore’s focus on moving upstream not just in production but also in value engineering. MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018 will be an ideal platform for companies interested in engaging global medtech companies and developing products for the Asian region.
MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018 continues to attract a highly international exhibitor base coming mainly from Asia and Europe. The trade visitor base is predominantly represented by the medical devices and instruments, medical and healthcare as well as the electrical and electronic sectors from around the region. At the last staging in 2016, the exhibition welcomed 200 companies from 18 countries and 5,420 trade visitors from 52 nations.

MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018 will be strategically co-located with the region’s leading medical and healthcare exhibition - MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2018 – covering the entire value chain for the medical, healthcare, medical manufacturing and medtech sectors. Jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and SPETA (Singapore Precision Engineering and Technology Association), the exhibition is modeled after the No.1 global trade fair in the medtech sector - COMPAMED - held annually in Düsseldorf, Germany.
