Last January 11th, 12th and 13th, nearly 11,000 people visited the 25th Salon de l'agriculture, taking this opportunity to meet 300 exhibitors and build their business network. The visitors from Quebec, Ontario and Northeastern United States had the chance to see 50 new products and equipments presented for the first time in Quebec. The main highlight of the Salon was the lecture from Mr Alain Lemaire, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cascades, about intergenerational transfer of business and retention of employees. The exceptional quality of the exhibits presented by the 300 companies on site, as well as the lectures from Valacta about innovation in diary production and the Bulletin des agriculteurs about paired row planting.
