170,000+ Visitors at Furniture China 2019

Organised by the Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Company, the 25th edition of Furniture China – the China International Furniture Expo attracted over 170,000 attendees from 160 countries and regions.

Among the attendees, a total of more than 21,000 were from overseas. The four-day show ran from 9th to 12th September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) covering an area of 350,000 m2 and featured 3,500 exhibitors.

Global Sources Mobile Electronics Opens in Hong Kong

In the face of ongoing protests in Hong Kong, B2B media company, Global Sources, opened its Mobile Electronics trade show at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) on 18th October. Featuring more than 3,700 booths, the show ran until 21st October.

Products showcased at the show included charging products, mobile speakers and earphones, wearable electronics, smartphones and tablets, protective cases and repair tools, accessories and services.

Shenzhen Game Show to Move to Shenzhen World

The 7th edition of the Shenzhen International Game Show in 2020 will move to Shenzhen’s new mega venue, Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. The event will run from 23rd to 26th July 2020.The show will be organised under the theme, “New Venue, New Planning” and the organiser notes that the aim of the event is to further develop a professional and inclusive game industry event. It will also focus on integrating quality animation and game resources in the development of new games.

Meorient Lists on Shenzhen Exchange

Meorient, a Chinese exhibition organiser, has listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE). The company debuted on the exchange on 22nd October. Meorient’s stock code is 300795. The company is reportedly the first exhibition organiser in China to be listed on a major stock exchange.

According to the SZSE, Meorient’s IPO offered just over 25 million shares at RMB 14.27 (US$2.02) per share and raising funds of RMB 357 million (US$51 million). The post-public-offering share capital is RMB 100.2 million. Meorient’s shares closed on Friday at RMB 27.36.

400 Exhibitors at Cloud Expo in Singapore

The organiser, CloserStill Media, expected the event to draw some 18,000 senior decision-makers from across the Asia Pacific region. Exhibitors offered products and services covering cloud computing, cyber security, big data, data centres, e-commerce and digital marketing.

Cloud Expo Asia was co-located with other enterprise technology events including Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, Big Data World, Smart IoT Singapore, Data Centre World, eCommerce Expo Asia, and Technology for Marketing Asia.
