This course is intended to provide the gynecologist and/or urologist with a functional understanding of the latest innovations in the evaluation and treatment of women with lower urogenital tract symptoms and voiding dysfunction. The didactic sessions will provide the participant with the basic knowledge of how to evaluate and treat women with lower urogenital tract abnormalities, pelvic prolapse, incontinence, pelvic pain and vaginal mesh complications. Basic and advanced techniques for the evaluation and treatment of women with incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction will be discussed by a faculty of experts. The video sessions will provide the participant with an opportunity to view actual procedures and techniques discussed in the didactic sessions. The panel discussions will enable the participants to better appreciate the differences and diversity of approaches to treat these conditions. Both the panel discussions and video presentations will also allow the participants to interact with the faculty in a more informal atmosphere for an open exchange of ideas.
