Description
Scientific Federation is delighted to welcome you all to the 2nd Global Summit and Expo on Dental & Oral Diseases (Dental & Oral Diseases-2017) which will be during March 27-29, 2017 Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. Dentistry and oral Health are branches of medicine, which involves prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The field of dental medicine is not limited to odontology which is the study of the structure, development, and abnormalities of the teeth. Because of their substantial overlap in concept, dentistry is often also understood to subsume the now largely defunct medical specialty of stomatology for which reason the two terms are used interchangeably in certain regions. Dentistry is widely considered important for overall health. Dental treatment is carried out by the dental team, which often consists of a dentist and dental auxiliaries. The history of dentistry is almost as ancient as the history of humanity and civilization with the earliest evidence dating from 7000 BC. Remains from the early Harappan periods of the Indus Valley Civilization show evidence of teeth having been drilled dating back 9,000 years. It is thought that dental surgery was the first specialization from medicine. On a larger scale, public health dentistry has been concerned with the improvement of oral health in large populations. Thus, the fluoridation of municipal water supplies in the mid-1940s resulted from research studies conducted by the U.S. Public Health Service. This service is also involved in the delivery of dental care to specialized populations, including Native Americans on reservations, as well as the Eskimo population of Alaska. The 2nd Global Summit and Expo on Dental & Oral Diseases is anticipating participants around the globe in large scale and the three day conference will provoke Plenary sessions, Keynote speeches, Poster, and Oral presentations. Malaysia is a beautiful and diverse country with many highlights. The many different regions, each with their own characteristic features, make this country the perfect destination for tourists. Malaysia is a perfect country to visit for all types of tourists. It is a great destination for backpackers, for groups, couples and families with children. Every now and then new attractions are discovered in Malaysia; existing attractions are upgraded or renovated regularly.
