With the rise of mobile technology and Omni-channel retailing passengers now expected more but how could we as an industry meet those expectations? Air Retail is about how we as an industry can enhance not only the shopping experience but the overall end to end passenger experience. It’s an exciting time for airline retail, with the added benefit of new innovative technology. We look at the opportunities available to maximise retail from the moment a ticket is purchased right through to the end of the journey. Themes include data and real time decision making, logistical challenges, pre-order models, crew incentives, personalisation, loyalty, possibilities for mobile/wearable’s and the future of on board retail. Already confirmed for 2015 are industry leading CEOs such as Alex Cruz (Vueling), Bernard Gustin (Brussels Airlines), Sertac Haybat (Pegasus Airlines) and Pieter Elbers (KLM).
