Description

The focus of IAIME’s 32nd Annual meeting is on evidence-based knowledge, techniques and procedures that enhance independent medical evaluation, injury prevention and injury treatment. The education, training and skill set required for independent medical evaluation exceeds that required in the clinical setting resulting in a learning gap, which, if not addressed, will lead to poor results for injured or ill persons and for all other stakeholders.

The objective of IAIME’s 32nd Annual meeting is to close this gap and to provide independent medical evaluators with the knowledge and tools to enhance practice performance and to improve outcomes for injured persons and other stakeholders by: 1. Apply EBM principles in treatment and evaluation of injured person 2. Understand principles better of causation of industrial injuries 3. Enhance on report writing and principles of running a successful IME. AME, DD, forensic practice 4. Improvement of testifying at deposition 5. Understand techniques of interrogation to ascertain false statements
