The theme for our 2018 Annual Conference speaks to the specialized skills and talents that oncology social workers use to improve the quality of life for cancer patients, their families and communities. This knowledge, specialized training, and comfort is highly-valued by those we serve.
The AOSW Annual Conference provides an opportunity for us to gather information, impart knowledge and offer support to each other. The presentations and educational sessions reflect the most important issues facing oncology social workers today.
The Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW) is the world’s largest professional organization entirely dedicated to the psychosocial care of people affected by cancer. Its three-day, 34th Annual Conference (2018) being held in Atlanta, Georgia will host more than 500 professionals who provide counsel, assist with decision-making, facilitate communication and provide information and referrals to cancer patients, their families and caregivers.
The AOSW Annual Conference enables sponsors and exhibitors to heighten awareness of their products and services among professionals in the oncology field. Our attendees work on the front lines, and are responsible for developing and delivering advancements in oncology social work to the patients and communities who need it most. There is no better way to directly connect with oncology social work thought leaders and practitioners.
