OMICS International is dedicated to serve the scientific community through its 400 leading Open Access peer reviewed Journals supported by 30,000 renowned editorial board and more than 5 million reader worldwide. OMICS International Conferences is proud to host around 300 international conferences around the globe to address the current issues and discoveries in the field of Life sciences, Applied Science & Engineering, Omics and Management, Clinical, Medical and Pharmaceutical sciences. OMICS International Conferences feel proud in inviting the contributors across the globe to its premier Global Food Processing Summit and Expo (Food Processing-2015) to be held during November 09-11, 2015 at Dubai, UAE. Food Processing-2015 is the premier event that brings together a unique and International mix of experts, researchers and decision makers both from academia and industry across the globe to exchange their knowledge, experience and research innovations to build a world food community. Food processing industry is the largest manufacturing sector in the UAE in terms of turnover, value added and employment. In late September, the Perfect Food Factory, a company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Foods Processing Company (SFPC), announced the commissioning of a new food processing line, its third at Dubai Industrial City. Operating out of a $27m facility, the new production line will turn out 100 tons of special cuts of raw and cooked poultry each week, adding to the firm’s existing capacity of 250 tones’ of beef and poultry products. Track-1: Emerging Food Processing Techniques: Food processing industry is the largest manufacturing sector in the UAE in terms of turnover, and employment. Food processing technology combines raw food ingredients to produce marketable food products & typically involves activities such as pasteurization, preservation, packaging & etc. Track -2: Food Security and challenges: The convergence of several factors: expected population growth, water scarcity leads to development food security. Good manufacturing material selection in the design of food processing equipment helps in minimizing the chances of contaminatio Track -3: Recent advancements in Food Processing Technology: Thermal, mechanical and physical processing methods are widely used for the food processing. This primarily involves in-container sterilization of foodstuff helps in prevent, eliminate infestation of food with microbes hence, development of food processed products. Track -4: Trends in Modern Food Processing: Modern food processes for food manufacturing based on membrane technology mainly applied to obtain functional foods and etc. Heat sterilization is another method in which food is heated at a sufficiently high temperature so as to destroy microbial activity. Track -5: Modern Trends in Food Processing Industry: Food rheology, Food Fortification, Food rendering are some of the modern trends in Food processing industry. Food rheology is the study of the rheological properties of food. Food fortification is the process of adding micronutrients to food. Sector growth opportunities include food processing equipment, packaging, raw material and the financial instruments required to support growth in the food segment. Track -6: Food Processing & Storage: Food processing & packaging prevent microbial growth; improve nutritional properties & shelf life of food. The main causes of deterioration are: micro-organisms, enzymes, chemical changes due to water, heat & etc. Some processed foods like peanut butter, apple juices, are healthy choices that can be harmless. So Food processing services is an essential part of food industry. Track -7: Food Biochemistry: There are different enzymes causes spoilage changes for example - softening of fruits, browning of cut fruit. Enzymes are either destroyed by heating or prevented from acting by changing the acidity of the food. When food processing is done correctly, the number of spoilage microorganisms is reduced. Spoilage occurs if there is a failure in processing conditions or packaging materials that can have an effect on the food Track - 8: Food Fermentation: Fermentation in food processing industry is the conversion of carbohydrates to alcohols and carbon dioxide using yeasts, bacteria, under anaerobic conditions. Fermentation gives nutritional benefits to food hence plays important roles in food processing industry Track - 9: Food Safety Regulations and standards: Food safety issues can easily become non-tariff trade barriers and are increasingly used as marketing tools. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system is the internationally recognized system to help assure safe food production. Track - 10: Food Quality control: Food Quality control is the evaluation of a final product prior to its marketing, i.e. it is based on quality checks. Since, at the end of the chain, there is no way to correct production failures or upgrade the quality of the final product. Track - 11: Food Packaging Technology: Food Packaging plays an important role in the food chain “from field to consumer’s table.” Food packaging machine is a series of equipment used to pack and seal a product in a container. Food machinery consists of various operations like, filling, sealing, etc. Food marketing research is necessary for the development of a better processed food.
