Description

Intersolar South America, Latin America’s largest exhibition and conference for the solar industry, takes place at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil on August 28-30, 2018 and has a focus on the areas of photovoltaics, PV production technologies, energy storage and solar thermal technologies.

In 2017 Intersolar South America welcomed more than 12,000 visitors and over 1,500 conference attendees at Sao Paulo's Expo Center Norte. 220 exhibitors showcased their products – an increase of 20% over the record year 2016 again, 240 companies are expected to exhibit in 2018.

Combining local and international expertise, Intersolar South America brings together the PV and ST sector to discuss the current status and trends strategic to Latin American PV markets, as well as technology innovations and new business opportunities. Especially now, as an increasing number of distributed generation projects are scheduled to become operational. Overall, DG is driving momentum in the Brazilian market, in particular since the sale of surplus power has been exempted from taxes in 21 states across Brazil.

The special exhibition "ees South America" will be hosted for the second time in Sao Paulo, after more than 25 exhibitors were welcomed in 2017 and presented energy storage innovations and programs.

ees South America is the industry hotspot for suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and users of stationary and mobile electrical energy storage solutions. The focus at ees is on energy storage solutions suited to support and complement energy systems with increasing amounts of renewable energy sources attracting investors, utilities, installers, manufacturers and project developers from all over the world.

Intersolar South America is part of the world’s leading exhibition series for the solar industry. It unites people and companies from around the world with the aim of increasing the share of solar power in our energy supply. Since being founded in 1991, Intersolar has become the most important industry platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers and partners of the solar industry.
