Description

SMi are proud to announce the 19th annual Military Airlift and Air-Air Refuelling conference and exhibition will return to Rome on the 4th – 5th December 2018, with an additional pre-conference focus day on Air-Air Refuelling on the 3rd December 2018.

Building on success of last year’s show, the 2018 edition sets to remain the key calendar date for the globe’s air mobility and airlift professionals with the latest crucial developments across heavy airlift, rotary wing airlift and AAR sectors being covered in-depth.

With operations becoming ever more international the need to upgrade and modernise platforms and build asset pooling and sharing between nations has never been greater. This has a renew importance in light of the growing remit of Air Forces – with humanitarian aid & disaster relief, aerial firefighting and hazmat transportation added to their purview.

New to this year: a dedicated pre-conference focus day on the 3rd December exploring Air-Air Refuelling in depth, analysing operations technology, mission planning & regulation, automatic air-air refuelling (A3R) and rotary wing perspectives.
