The eighth annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference and Exhibition will take place on July 11-13, 2017 at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes in Florida. The theme this year is Building Resiliency in the Sports Safety and Security Industry. It is important for sport organizations to build resiliency within their safety and security capabilities. The Department of Homeland Security's Presidential Policy Directive 21: defines resilience as the ability to prepare for and adapt to changing conditions and withstand and recover readily from disruptions. Resilience includes the ability to withstand and recover from deliberate attacks, accidents, or naturally occurring threats or incidents. This conference will focus on building security and resiliency capabilities to ensure the ability of a sports organization to anticipate, prepare for, and respond and adapt to incremental change and sudden disruption in order to survive and prosper. In recent years, a new consensus of the concept of resilience emerged to effectively address the issues of security, preparedness, risk and survivability.
The Annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference and Exhibition will be a great opportunity to showcase your company?s products and services to those who play a crucial role in sports safety and security.
