The Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians (USAFP) is a constituent chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is comprised of Family Physicians, Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students serving on active duty worldwide in the United States Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard and Public Health Service. The USAFP has over 2,700 members serving on military installations in the United States and in many other countries throughout the world.
The Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians Annual Meeting’s purpose is to provide the unique opportunity for Uniformed Family Physicians and other primary healthcare professionals to learn and receive exceptional, contemporary and evidenced based continuing medical education as well as attend cutting edge research presentations. The USAFP Annual Meeting & Exposition is held each year in February/March/April and offers exceptional CME that will cover topics in clinical, academic, operational, and administrative Family Medicine. This meeting allows the opportunity for physicians, faculty, residents, students and other health care professionals to interact academically, professionally and socially. The meeting is approved annually by the American Academy of Family Physicians for prescribed group continuing medical education credits.
