EVENT DETAILS The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG), in partnership with SingEx Exhibitions, will organise the newly revamped World Rubber Summit (WRS) 2015, to be held on 24-25 March 2015 at MAX Atria @ Singapore EXPO, as a key event of “World Rubber Week”*. The Summit is themed “Productivity and Sustainability for Tomorrow’s market – what drives it?”. The programme itself is designed to address broader, strategic policy led issues which impacts the rubber industry, and will examine how leaders of the global rubber industry are adjusting to the rapidly changing world economy and new global paradigms which will inadvertently have an impact on the industry. With thought-provoking Keynote topics, targeted panel discussions and for the first time, topical in-depth breakout sessions led by industry leaders and experts, the 2 day Summit aims to provide key insights and valuable takeaways on the outlook and opportunities in the industry’s various market segments. Some of the topical panel and breakout discussions will include the following: • What is the road ahead for the tyre industry? • What are the views of the NR producers regarding the industry and its future? • “If” and “how” will the NR supply chain evolve, and how will the distribution system change? • What is China’s view on the NR industry’s future? Likewise, what is India’s view? • Synthetic Rubber – will ever replace natural rubber? • Commodity exchanges – satisfying a need, or a pain to the industry? • Rubber traders or speculators? • Sustainable development? What is this? Register today for World Rubber Summit 2015. Early bird registration ends on 30 January 2015. To register, go to www.wrs2015.rubberstudy.com.
