March 9, 2014

Diversified Communications Australia recently concluded a record-breaking edition of the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition (AOG) at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre. According to the latest figures, more than 550 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions joined the three-day trade show which took place from 19th to 21st February 2014.

Diversified reported a new show record attendance of more than 14,500 visitors – up 40% from 2013. International exhibitors included those from the U.S., U.K., China, Norway, Scotland, Singapore, Holland, Italy, France and Belgium. AOG’s conference programme also attracted more than 150 speakers covering 15 different streams including the subsea segment.

Bill Hare, event director of AOG, commented, “We had such high demand from exhibitors wanting to take part this year that the show’s footprint extended to Level 2 for the first time. Visitor numbers have certainly reflected the increase in demand and we’re pleased to say this year has been the most successful since Diversified acquired the event in 2007.”

The next edition of AOG will run from 11th to 13th March 2015 again at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre.
