J. Spargo & Associates has been busy lately, snagging several new pieces of medical-event related business ranging from shows focused on nephrology to oncology.

“We are delighted to welcome our latest medical association clients to the JS&A family. Our expertise in the medical marketplace and our ability to deliver services and deploy best practices to a wide variety of medical trade shows allows us to lower operational costs for our clients,” said Susan Bracken, president and CEO of JS&A.

She added, “Our healthcare team is equipped to launch broader global marketing campaigns that introduce our clients’ events to new exhibitors generating additional sources of revenue for our customers.”

JS& A was appointed the official exposition sales and management firm for the Clinical Lab Expo, sponsored by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.

The company will be responsible for the sales and management of booth space, sponsorships and ancillary marketing opportunities for the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Clinical Lab Expos.

JS&A also was appointed the official exposition sales and management firm for Kidney Week, sponsored by the American Society of Nephrology.

Kidney Week hosts 175 exhibiting companies, occupying more than 70,000 square feet of exhibit space and attracts approximately 13,000 professional attendees.

The primary specialties of physicians participating in Kidney Week include chronic kidney disease, dialysis, acute kidney injury, glomerular disease, transplantation & immunology, hypertension & cardiovascular disease and bone & mineral metabolism.

The company also snagged the meetings and exposition management firm contract for the Society of Surgical Oncology.
