UBM to Expand Leather Show in China

The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), an annual trade show held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Pudong, is expecting to fill an additional exhibition hall this year during its 13th edition. The event is jointly organised by the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) and APLF, a joint venture between UBM Asia and SIC Group.

ACLE will run Sept. 6-8, and organisers are expecting a crowd that includes 1,000 exhibitors to occupy one additional exhibition hall over the 2010 edition – a total of 80,500 square meters. The event will feature exhibitors ranging from tanning machinery and chemicals to software and services. ACLE is collocated with footwear trade shows – the China International Footwear Fair (CIFF) and Moda Shanghai.

More than 20 international pavilions will feature at this edition of ACLE, including Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the U.S.
