Medical Fair Asia 2018 to be Largest Edition to Date

With more than 1,000 exhibitors - including 24 country group exhibits, MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2018, 12th International Exhibition on Hospital, Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical, Medical & Rehabilitation Equipment & Supplies, will be the largest edition to date.

The event will feature more than 10,000 medical and healthcare products as well as the special Community Care Pavilion, the Start-Up Park and the Future 4 Health (FTR4H) Lab & Lounge. First-time country group participations will come from Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, European Union, Iran, Netherlands, Philippines, Qatar, Russia and Spain. MEDICAL FAIR ASIA will take place at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands from Aug.29 – 31

Visitors at MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2018 will learn about current healthcare topics ranging from the growth of the sports medicine sector to wearable technology and the decentralization of healthcare from the institutions to the community.

Start-ups and small and medium sized companies can also participate in workshops offering concise knowledge on clinical trials, product validation, patent law and regulatory processes.

There are several education opportunities at this year’s event as well.

Organized by Navispace & Messe Düsseldorf Asia, the one-day MEDICAL FAIR ASIA MEDICINE + SPORTS Conference  will deal with topics ranging from digital innovations in sports and healthcare and exercise as medicine to customizing programs for recovering patients and athletes.

Organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia, the inaugural “Paradigm Shifts in Healthcare” seminar will help medical professionals to prepare for future healthcare challenges. Discussions will center on the transformation of the healthcare industry and its course as well as challenges of the decentralization of healthcare from institution to community.

Organized by WT | Wearable Technologies, Wearable Technologies Conference Asia 2018, dedicated to discussions on wearable technology, the 30th edition of this international conference will make its Singapore debut at MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2018. The Singapore conference will focus on how wearables can digitalize the industry and provide remote healthcare monitoring.

The Medical Innovation & Technology Forum 2018, Organized by Robotic Surgery Society of Singapore, will highlight the role of robotic surgery in the areas of gynecology, colorectal, urology and cardiothoracic. Treatment options allowing for faster recovery and shorter post-surgery downtime will also be discussed.

Collocated with MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2018 will be MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA 2018, 4th Manufacturing Processes for Medical Technology Exhibition and Conference. This event will  focus on materials, components and manufacturing of medical technology and devices including micro and nanotechnology.
