The hallmark of CORCON series of corrosion conferences is the support NACE International Gateway India Section receives from the industry, academia, R&D and defence establishment across the corrosion fraternity. It also provides a unique networking platform for interaction amongst professionals from large PSUs or Governmental agencies and private industries. Besides technical symposia on a wide range of topics, CORCON 2014, will also have Technical Interactive Forums (TIF) on corrosion- related topics of contemporary interest, during which delegates may seek answers to quires through interactions with a panel of experts.

The CORCON Conferences are recognised for providing an excellent platform for exchange of information and gaining knowledge on all matters concerning corrosion; establishment of business and personal relationships; acquiring knowledge / information regarding existing and upcoming products and technologies. The number of academic institutions and research organizations, public and private sector organizations including defence establishments and individuals who attend CORCON conferences every year, is much larger than that for any other conference in this part of the world. We are proud to state CORCON is the largest conference outside the United States of America.

Several organisations have extended their support to CORCON:

  • The Department of Heavy Engineering, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India. Last year the Honourable Minister, Shri. Praful Patel, inaugurated CORCON 2013.
  • The U.S. Department of Commercial Services has granted Trade Fair Certification to CORCON 2014.
  • The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
  • The Chemtech Foundation
  • Other Associations – Process Plant & Machinery Association of India, Sugar Technology Association of India, Petrotech, American Water Works Association and Paint India

Sporting events are no longer the most preferred target for terrorists, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Outdoor events, conferences, festivals, and other events featuring public figures are all vulnerable. And with over a thousand different-level attacks since 2015, it’s no surprise that safety and security are among the top concerns for event professionals.
