Sporting events are no longer the most preferred target for terrorists, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Outdoor events, conferences, festivals, and other events featuring public figures are all vulnerable. NESA Days 2015
The New European Surgical Academy (NESA) is an international, interdisciplinary organization with members in 51 countries and associated with international organizations like FIGO, the German Gynecological Association, the Danish Surgical Association and the Hong Kong Medical Academy. The NESA modifies and improves surgical procedures, has created the first European working group for natural orifice surgery and supports the European telesurgical project. The NESA initiates and performs surgical workshops in countries with limited resources. The NESA Days are interdisciplinary surgical conferences which enable surgeons from different disciplines to learn from each other and implement in their own daily practices ideas from other disciplines. The NESA Days 2015 will take place in Berlin on 18-20 September 2015 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz. The conference will be dedicated to acute care surgery and emergencies in surgery as well as novelties in endoscopy and telesurgery. Participants will learn about optimal ways of overcoming unexpected situations. Opinion-leaders from various disciplines and countries will present their experience and ideas about these important issues.
