The thought of paying a person to promote a product was seen as something only Fortune 500 companies could afford. Social media has changed all that with brands and businesses utilizing celebrity influencers to connect directly with their demographics and increase sales and profits.

The SPA has grown to include 4,390 Members. Between 500 and 800 physicians attend the annual Spring and Fall meetings. Exhibitors are also recognized in the syllabus, e-newsletters, on signage and SPA website which receives approx. 39,000-41,000 hits per month.
