GJIIE 2016 Rescheduled to Autumn

March 22, 2016

The Gem & Jewellery India International Exhibition (GJIIE), organised by Madras Jewellers and Diamond Merchants Association (MJDMA) and UBM India, has been rescheduled. Originally, the event was scheduled to be held from 18th to 20th March 2016 and it is now rescheduled to be held from 7th to 9th October 2016 at the Chennai Trade Centre.

The organisers explained that the change of date is due to the upcoming Legislative Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu and security related concerns. GJIIE features over 350 exhibitors and attracts participants ranging from retailers, wholesalers to manufacturer and distributors. GJIIE Chennai is one of the four jewellery shows organised throughout the year by UBM India. The four are: Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi.
