Reed Concludes New Shanghai Lighting Show

Reed Exhibitions China’s inaugural Green Lighting Shanghai concluded with the attendance of just under 5,000 visitors. Exhibitors participating included those specializing in manufacturing environment friendly equipment, materials and applications in LED lighting technologies and products. The three-day trade show was held at Intex Shanghai May 11-13.

Reed also reported this week the conclusion of NEPCON China (Shanghai), an electronics manufacturing trade show, with more than 14,000 visitors. Reed reports that space sold at the event was up 21 percent, compared with the previous edition in 2010, and it featured 500 exhibitors from 22 countries – an increase of 168 exhibitors, compared with last year’s edition. The NEPCON China was held at the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center May 11-13.

Reed announced the next edition of both shows will be collocated next year at the newly built Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, which was the former Expo Theme Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo. The venue consists of five exhibition halls, with a total of 80,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space.
