Reed Exhibitions Greater China Promotes Two Senior Executives
Reed Exhibitions Greater China has made two senior appointments to keep pace with the growing size of the business and operational complexities of the local exhibition industry, according to company officials.
Edwin Tan, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions Greater China, will be promoted to COO, effective March 1.
In his new role, Tan will support Reed China’s President Nat Wong in day-to-day operations, as well as spearheading sustainable growth initiatives for Reed across China.
Thomas Huang, having served with distinction as acting vice president of Reed Exhibitions Shanghai, has been promoted to vice president of Reed Exhibitions Shanghai, effective Feb. 1.
“I’m delighted to announce the well-deserved appointments of Edwin Tan and Thomas Huang,” Wong said.
He added, “It is a significant achievement for us to have two exceptionally qualified and experienced professionals grow within the ranks in Reed China to take up key management roles working with me to define our growth path into the future. “2014 will be a very important year for Reed in China and across Asia-Pacific. With these two appointments, we go into the year with a fortified and proven leadership team at the helm,” Wong said.
