Description

Founded in 1920, the Society of American Military Engineers—as it has for nearly 100 years—leads collaborative efforts to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges.

With 25,000 members including uniformed service members, government civilians, private sector engineers and related professionals, and members of academia, SAME offers professional and personal development, networking and community involvement to individuals of all ages committed to contributing to our National Security, by leading a collaborative and focused coalition of organizations that creates opportunities to address and resolve issues that enhance our national security posture.

SAME and its 105 Posts in the United States and abroad offers members a wide network of support that includes a vast array of education, training, networking and business opportunities.

The 2020 JETC will provide general sessions and keynote speakers that highlight how SAME and our partners and stakeholders are making an impact. Education and training sessions will include presentations addressing the broad technical nature of SAME’s membership.

The Exhibit Hall will be the center of activity during the week. Exhibit booths will be complemented by historical enhancements, including engineering achievements over the past century, profiles of SAME’s named awards, and even historic vehicles to symbolize the era of 1920 in which we were formed.

The 2020 JETC will be highlighted with a special presentation of the Golden Eagle Awards, bringing the Academy of Fellows’ distinguished awards into the Society’s Centennial Celebration. Finally, a collection of supporting events and activities will be offered before and during JETC, including tours of area attractions.
