IAEE Expo! Expo! 2017 Planning Made Easy with These 5 Tips

Are you attending IAEE Expo! Expo! this year?  Have you started planning for your visit?  Don’t stress!

Below are five beneficial things you can do today to prepare for a productive trip to San Antonio. And then you’ll be able to kick back and enjoy Thanksgiving without worrying about preparing for the Show.

  1. Visit the Expo! Expo! 2017 Website

On the website you will find a full schedule of activities, who is exhibiting, what sessions are available, programs for young professionals, programs for first time attendees, tools for networking, San Antonio information and so much more! This should be you first stop in your planning journey!

  1. Identify Your Must-See Exhibitors

Explore the exhibitor list and interactive floor plan to gather details about the exhibitors that will be present. Click on an exhibitor’s name to see their eBooth with product details, recent news, and the show specials that they will be offering. You can create your personal list of favorite exhibitors by clicking the star icon beside their name and then visit the My Exhibitors tab to see your list. This will focus your time on the show floor to those exhibitors you are most interested in meeting. You may also want to browse the Product Gallery to see the products and services that exhibitors will be featuring.

  1. Make New Connections!

Expo! Expo! is your opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and it’s all about connections this year!  Pick each other’s brains for new ideas, best practices, etc. Connect™, the online networking tool, makes connecting with exhibitors seamless and easy. Log in to the Connect tools from the Expo! Expo! 2017 website to email exhibitors questions about their products and services.  You can also begin scheduling appointments with exhibitors in their booth. Don’t take any chances and get a confirmed appointment with you must-see exhibitors. Connect allows you to manage your exhibitor appointments as well as personal appointments on the online Connect calendar.

  1. Check Your Emails

IAEE and its partners have sent out many tips for preparing for Expo! Expo! in the past few weeks. Browse through your emails for tips on the website and planning tools to save you time.  You will also find in those emails one-step log in links for Connect. You no longer need to remember your confirmation number. You can also do all of this from your mobile device due to the slick mobile responsiveness of the website.

  1. Have Fun!

Last, but not least, have some fun! There are many opportunities to mingle with your peers and make new connections at IAEE Expo!
